Enablers for Growth of Cryptocurrencies: A Fuzzy–ISM Benchmarking

Cryptocurrencies and their market capitalisation have experienced vibrant growth in the last few years. Their total cap is more than USD 858 billion as of date writing growing, with nearly 21,984 tradeable cryptos 530 exchanges. It emerging one biggest threats to traditional fundraising market. The issue industry’s long-term viability steady expansion paramount importance. Even though unsustainable uneven could help boost economic activity short term, it would be detrimental long run because risk extinction. This paper first attempts identify factors contributing cryptocurrency effects. based on hybrid MCDM methodology research uses fuzzy–ISM (interpretive structural modelling). method divided into three phases: identification, expert opinion, interpretation. Sixteen were chosen from previous literature suggestions industry professionals. Seven barriers been framed analysis better understand impacts interrelationships among identified barriers. are further classified using fuzzy MICMAC four major categories drive power dependence extracted matrix. explains importance all enablers acceptance cryptocurrencies for investment fundraising.
